UK Government ev charging Grant Schemes Closing Dates

The UK government offers a range of grant schemes under the Workplace Charging Scheme and related initiatives to support the rollout of EV chargepoints. These schemes are designed to help businesses, public sector organisations, landlords, and homeowners lower the upfront costs of installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure, making the transition to EVs more accessible and cost-effective.

Funding is currently available until 31 March 2026, though the government reserves the right to amend or close the schemes at any time. If changes are made, they intend to give at least four weeks’ notice, and any eligible claims submitted before that will still be honoured—provided they meet the grant criteria.

Let’s take a closer look at the main government-backed EV chargepoint schemes available today, including support for workplace installations.
