What Did We Do?
Using our 30 years of expertise and over 500 completed commercial PV projects, we planned and installed a solution designed for the specific operational requirements and site conditions of Euro Foods, a leading name in UK food processing.
The project was structured in two phases:
Phase 1 involved installing a 91.50 kWp ground mount system using high-efficiency A rated performance DMEGC 500wp solar panels and Solis inverters, all supported by a custom-engineered mounting structure designed for the site.
Phase 2 of the project involves a substantial expansion of 593.5 kWp to the existing solar ground mount installation at Euro Foods’ facility.
This phase will include the addition of more A rated performance DMEGC 500wp solar panels and Solis inverters, utilising the same ground mount infrastructure that proved successful in Phase 1.
The Phase 1 system is expected to generate around 78,500 kWh of clean electricity each year, directly offsetting Euro Foods’ energy use. This will reduce CO2 emissions by 9,734 kg annually, supporting their sustainability goals.
The bespoke ballasted L-profile frame mounting system using kerbstones was engineered for durability and maximum energy harvest, and was designed specifically for the site’s ground conditions and layout.
